Login to your RightMessage account and click on the “gear” icon in the top right of the page.
Then select “Integrations.”
Click on the “ConvertKit” tab on the left side of the screen.
Enter your API credentials on the right and click on the green “Connect with ConvertKit” button.

- You choose a custom field to sync with a segmented group.
- The customer group is segmented according to your auto-segmentation rules.

Segment a Custom Field with Your Email Service Provider
Click on a segment group name or add a new segment group.
Click on the “Sync with your email marketing tool” tab in the segment group editing area.
Select the email service provider (ESP) you want to sync with if you have more than one.
Select the “Custom field” that correlates to the custom field in your ESP that you want to sync with.
Add a value that will be linked to your custom field segments.
All that’s left is to hit “Publish” in the top right corner of your screen!

How to Sync RightBar with your Email Service Provider
First, you’ll need to sync RightBar with your email manager/CRM.
In your dashboard, select “Go to Integrations.”
Select your email manager of choice from the options on the left (in this case Drip).
Then click the green button on the right to connect to Drip.
Select the name of your Drip account.
As you can see from the green “Drip” button, your website is now synced with Drip.
This process works the same with ConvertKit, ActiveCampaign, Infusionsoft and any of the other email service providers that RightMessage integrates with.

Putting RightBar into Action
Once your CRM is synced with RightBar, click on the “RightBar” button in the top menu.

Skip over to your segment editor by clicking on the “Segments” button in the main top menu. Here you can see your suggested segments based on the type of business you selected.
Now it’s time to make adjustments so that they match the tags defined in your email manager.

Now let’s define a segment in RightBar that correlates to the “Joined Email Courses” tag in your Drip account.
Once you’ve finished defining all of the segments of your sales funnel, go back into RightBar’s dashboard by clicking “RightBar” in the top menu.
Here you can see all of the newly-created segments of your sales funnel and can specify what the call-to-actions will say.
When you’re finished deciding what your CTAs will say, all that’s left is to style your RightBar and activate it.
Once your RightBar campaign is active, you’ll be able to track its performance in your RightBar dashboard.
