I wrote this ultimate Funnelytics review and guide to help you understand how Funnelytics works and the exciting things you can achieve with it, including the pros, cons and much more.
I’ve been building funnels for awhile now, and nothing comes close to the effectiveness and ease of use that Funnelytics provides to me and my team.
At the end of this review, you'll have a chance to leave your opinion about Funnelytics, so stick around for that.
This is an extensive in-depth Funnelytics review.

Let's get started!
What Is Funnelytics?
Funnelytics is a simple and aesthetically pleasing funnel mapping software that you can use to design, track and analyze your marketing funnels.
It’s the first product of its kind to focus on funnel visualization.
Mikael Dia created Funnelytics after being frustrated that there wasn’t a better tool out there for mapping funnels and tracking analytics all in one place.
He had too many funnel ideas in his head and nowhere to put them!
But Dia wanted to do more than just visualize his funnels…
He wanted to track their effectiveness to be sure that they were profitable.
With Funnelytics, not only do you get to map your funnels with ease, but you get to analyze how they perform with tracking analytics, all within the Funnelytics mapping platform.
What's Included Inside Funnelytics?
Funnelytics is available in a free and Pro version.
The difference between the two is drastic.
Funnelytics Basic has just enough awesome features to give you a taste of how great Funnelytics Pro could really be.
With Funnelytics Pro, you get a whole host of cool features to help you optimize your funnels and boost revenue:
Funnelytics takes your funnels out of your head and puts them on a canvas.
Then it allows you to insert your tracking analytics right into your funnel maps.
And you get to easily show all of your innovative funnel ideas with your friends through a shareable link or by downloading them as an image file.
Before Funnelytics, the best you could do was draw out your funnels on a whiteboard or sketch them in a mind-mapping program.
With Funnelytics, your ideas are instantly brought to life in picture-perfect form.
Is Funnelytics Right For Me?
Marketers and businesses of all sizes will see a ton of value even with just the basic version.
Go with Funnelytics Pro, and you’ll instantly put your analytics on steroids.
If you’ve used Google Analytics in the past, you may have hit a roadblock when it comes to getting conversion metrics for optin pages.
Google Analytics is AMAZING for a lot of things, but it does have its set of limitations.Funnelytics picks up where Google Analytics left off -- with detailed tracking for every phase of your funnel.

The Ultimate Funnelytics (Pro) Review
We humans are visual learners.
If you’re new to marketing funnels, having a aesthetically pleasing map laid out in front of you can really speed up your learning.
If you’re a seasoned marketing vet, you can use Funnelytics to wow customers with a clean display of your marketing strategy.
When Mikael Dia launched the free BETA version of Funnelytics in December 2017, he wanted to create an environment specifically for funnel marketers to play with and share their ideas.
Funnelytics Pro launched in February 2018, and is still in the BETA phase of development.
This means that there’s some great deals to be had for early customers!
Here are some of my favorite Funnelytics features…
My Personal Favorite Funnelytics Features
I’m a sucker for anything that helps me learn faster, because that faster I learn, the faster I boost my ROI.
Funnelytics helps me...
Funnelytics levels up your funneling to warp speed with the following features:
Review Of Funnelytics Key Features & Benefits
Here’s a breakdown of Funnelytics’ most impressive features:
1. Funnelytics Vault
When you sign up for the free version, Funnelytics founder Mikael Dia introduces the Funnelytics Vault.
Right now, you can gain lifetime access to the Vault for only $47.
The Funnelytics Vault is a collection of pre-made funnel templates from some of the biggest marketers in the world:
and many more…
Why start from scratch when you can start with tested funnels created by the marketers you already know and respect?
Funnelytics purchased all of the best funnel products and took screenshots of them so that you don’t have to.
For example, Grant Cardone’s order forms:
Grant Cardone’s upsell page: This is just the first section of the upsell page. It was too long include the whole image in this review.
Mikael Dia describes to his Funnel Vault as “Ethically stealing over $35 million of funnel hacks.”
They’re always adding more expert funnels every month.
The funnels are from a range of industries, including information products, book funnels and membership sites.
Funnelytics has dissected every aspect of these funnels, from the upsells and downsells to the landing pages and ads.
They’ve created explanatory videos for every funnel to make sure you understand how they all work.
The best part is that these funnel templates are built right into Funnelytics.
All you have to do is click a button and your template of choice will instantly load into the funnel map.
Here’s how it works:Step 1: Click the Vault tab in the main menu, then select you funnel of choice.
Step 2: Click the “Funnelytics Template” button to share the template to your Funnelytics dashboard.
Step 3: Click the blue button to add the funnel to your dashboard.
Step 4: Viola! Your premium funnel template is loaded into your dashboard.
You may have noticed that there’s also an option to load the funnel into ClickFunnels instead of Funnelytics:
When you click this button, you’ll be directed to your ClickFunnels account.
THE BOTTOM LINE?
Funnelytics Vault gives you (almost) everything you need so that you can model the best funnels out there.
No reason to re-invent the wheel when you can just start making money with somebody else’s!
2. Drag and Drop Funnel Builder
The drag ‘n drop funnel builder is the heart and soul of Funnelytics. You get access to it in both the Pro and Basic versions.
Using it is so intuitive that you almost don’t need any instructions, but just incase, here you go…
First, let’s walk through creating your first funnel just so you get a feel for it.
How to Create Your First Funnel
This is what your Funnelytics dashboard looks like:
Click the “Create a Project” button in the top left corner and enter the name of your project.
You project name will appear in the left sidebar.
Select your project name in the sidebar and click the “Create Funnel” button in the top right corner of your screen.
Name your funnel.
Congratulations! You’ve created your first funnel!
Designing Your First Funnel from Scratch
This is what your blank funnel map looks like.
On the left you can view your icon options:
Pages: Choose from a Opt In, Order Page, Sales Page, Sales Video, Survey and 10 other types of pages.
Traffic: These icons represent your traffic source and are where you’ll attach your UTM parameters for tracking. There are icons for Facebook ads, Adwords, banner ads, LinkedIn and 18 other traffic sources.
Actions: Action icons represent the type of user activity you want to track with Google Tag Manager. Choose between Purchase, Watch Video, Add to Cart, Complete Form and four other unique actions.
Offline: Offline icons represent parts of your sales funnel that take place outside of the internet such as…
Templates: Whatever templates you create or import will show up here.
Now that you have a lay of the land, it’s time to drag those icons out onto the map and start making you funnel dreams into a reality.
Designing Your Funnel
To get started, click and drag a traffic source icon out onto the map.
Then grab the pages that you want to include in your funnel and arrange them to you liking.
As you drag the pages out and position them, they’ll automatically link to each other in the order that you lay them down.
If you want to unlink a pair of icons, click on the icon where the arrow begins. A set of buttons will appear below the icon.
Click on the far right “link” button to break the link.
The traffic source icon will not automatically link to the first page in the funnel. To link it, click on the traffic source icon.
Click the “link” icon that appears on the far right.
Hold and drag your cursor until the arrow makes contact with the page that you wish to link to.
To set conversion and revenue goals for a page, click on the icon and then select the “alarm clock” button that appears below the icon.
A sidebar will pop up on the right side of the screen where you can enter the goal name, the target value, and select the type of goal:
3. Track and Analyze User Flow
All the funnel mapping we just covered occurs in the “Map” setting.
To switch to “Analyze” mode, click on the button highlighted at the top of the screen in the image below:
Your traffic and conversion metrics will magically appear!
This is my favorite part of Funnelytics!
Later I’ll show you how to connect these metrics to an active campaign.
Below is a screenshot of an active campaign:
You get to see how customers flow from your ads (traffic source) and through every phase of your marketing funnel.
In the above example, 5 of the original 1000 visitors made it to the final page of the funnel.
Often times the slightest changes to your sales copy can make a big difference when it comes to conversion rates.
With Funnelytics, you get to see exactly where customers are dropping off so that you can strengthen weak pages in your funnel.
4. Track External Traffic Sources
You can track and analyze external traffic to your funnels and pages with UTM tagging.
What are UTMs?
Let’s find out!
What is a UTM?
UTM stands for Urchin Traffic Monitor.
When you attach UTM codes to the end of a website URL, it creates a unique tracking code.
Anytime a user clicks a link on your site, the tags are sent to Funnelytics so that you can track the activity.
Watch this explanatory video for a full breakdown on how to set up tracking in Funnelytics.
How to Link a Traffic Icon to a UTM Code
When you connect a traffic icon to your UTM code, the icon will automatically be updated with traffic analytics from the page!
When you create your map in Funnelytics, make sure to connect the traffic icon to the page icon and not the other way around.
Here’s what I mean:
To connect the Facebook icon to the page link, click on the traffic icon. Then click the “link” button that appears underneath the Facebook icon and drag the arrow to the page that you want to track traffic to (in the image above this is the “Opt In” page).
Now enter your UTM parameters. Here’s how:
Click on the Facebook icon.
Click on the pencil icon that appears below the Facebook icon.
3. Enter the UTM parameters in the sidebar that pops up on the right side of the screen.
4. Save your funnel link and copy it to use in your advertisements. Don’t enter the link in the traffic source. The traffic source pulls the link automatically.
UTM Tracking Spreadsheet
Funnelytics has a UTM tracking spreadsheet that you can use to manage the tracking links in your campaigns.
Use this spreadsheet as a guide. The majority of the spreadsheet cells are locked, so don’t mess around with the text or formulas.
Use the password “funnelyticsrocks” if you decide that you need to unlock some of the cells.
You’ll need to make a copy of the spreadsheet and add it to your own Google account. Funnelytics requests that you don’t ask for editing access.
5. Using Google Tag Manager to Analyze User Engagement
Google Tag Manager is a tool developed by Google to manage your tags.
It acts as a hub through which you can install tracking analytics scripts, including those from Funnelytics!
By using Google Tag Manager with your WordPress website, you can track user engagement with individual elements on your pages including:
Here’s how to install Funnelytics script in Google Tag Manager:
Step 1: Installing Google Tag Manager
First off, you’ll need to install Google Tag Manager if you haven’t already. With WordPress websites, you can do this using a plugin like DuracellTomi’s Google Tag Manager for WordPress or Insert Headers and Footers.
Google Tag Manager comes with two code snippets: one for the <head> section and one for the end of the <body> section of your website.
You can find these codes by clicking on the “Container ID” at the top of your Google Tag Manager page pictured below:
When you click on the “Container ID,” two code snippets will display like the ones pictured below:
Either of the recommended WordPress plugins will tell you exactly where to place these pieces of code.
Step 2: Installing Funnelytics Script with Google Tag Manager
Now that Google Tag Manager is successfully installed, it’s time to install the Funnelytics script so that you can start tracking!
Open your project in Funnelytics.
Click on the settings tab.
3. Copy the script.
4. Head back to Google Tag Manager and add a new tag. Make sure it’s set to fire on all pages.
Funnelytics script will now fire on all pages of your website!
Now that Funnelytics script is installed for all pages of your site, let’s learn how to start tracking unique actions with Funnelytics.
How to Track Button Clicks Using Google Tag Manager:
You can use Google Tag Manager to track all sorts of user activity.
When everything’s all set up, you’ll be able to harvest juicy data, like how often users click on specific elements of a page.
In your Funnelytics map, the data will look something like this:
The main call-to-action (CTA) button on this page was clicked 21 times out of 316 visitors.
Unfortunately, activating this tracking feature requires some “developer skills.” The Funnelytics crew is currently hard at work coming up with an easier solution.
Here’s what they have to say about the issue in their Help Department:
For now, you can take a crack at activating click tracking by following the directions in this video.
6. Tracking Revenue
Funnelytics Pro shows you the revenue you’ve made from each phase of your funnel and over the course of your entire campaign.
Funnelytics doesn’t yet integrate with payment carts, but they’re developing this ability as we speak.
Luckily, they’ve thought up a clever work-around for the time being.
Rather than linking directly to your payment processor, you can set goals on specific pages in your funnel and attribute a price to each of your products.
Let’s say you have a $137 product. Any user who visits that confirmation page for that product is assigned a $137 value, which is essentially the same as linking to your payment processor.
Funnelytics Support & Documentation
I’ve found detailed explanatory videos and articles for many of the more technical aspects of setting up Funnelytics’ tracking features.
They always note when the article was last updated so you can be sure it’s relevant.
Funnelytics has chat support, but unfortunately, it’s not available 24/7, so if you’re on the other side of the world from their headquarters in Toronto it could take awhile to hear back from them.
The staff is highly motivated to help troubleshoot issues.
They’re still in the BETA testing, so they’re stoked to iron out the kinks.
The support team is always grateful when you point out something that isn’t running smoothly.
Top Ways To Use Funnelytics
For being the first of its kind, Funnelytics has done an awesome job at delivering a quality product.
Here’s a few of the top reasons why Funnelytics is worth looking into:
Funnelytics is still in its testing phase, so you can’t be too hard on them, but they do lack the ability to integrate with third-party software. I mean literally, they don’t integrate with anything. At least not yet (but they said they have plans to do that later on).
Funnelytics Alternatives And Comparison Vs Other Funnel Mapping Tools
Funnelytics is like a unique, magical unicorn that’s the first, but surely not the last of its kind.
There was a gap in the market, and Funnelytics filled it with a visually-oriented, data-driven SaaS tool that’s unlike anything else on the market right now.
Being able to analyze traffic and conversion rates right from the comfort of a gorgeous funnel map is what sets Funnelytics apart from the pack.
You can use Google Analytics to measure conversion rates and traffic flow, but it isn’t anywhere near as convenient as having your metrics embedded right into your funnel map.
Funnelytics Pro Pricing
This is the season to to capitalize on Funnelytics Pro being in BETA phase.
Along with a lifetime membership at one fixed price, Funnelytics is offering lifetime unlimited traffic when you purchase the Pro plan.
This deal won’t last forever.
Once they’re out of BETA, they plan on charging between $99 and $800/month depending on traffic volume.
On top of that, by buying now you’ll get lifetime access to the Funnelytics Vault (a $2k value) and access to their “$0 to $200k Webclass” (an additional $2k value).
Funnelytics Pricing Options
Right now, you can get a lifetime membership to Funnelytics Pro for only $595.
For an additional $97, you can add their “7-Figure Agency Ignite Swipe Files,” which breaks down the exact method Funnelytics used to scale their digital marketing agency to over seven figures.
Everything that Funnelytics has to offer is yours for a one-time fee of $692.
Funnelytics Free Plan
Funnelytics Basic limits you to 10 funnels.
All you can do is map them. Tracking and analytics are not included.
In my opinion, Funnelytics Basic has one main function, and that’s to entice you to buy the Pro version.
Without the ability to track and analyze traffic, engagement, ROI or revenue, Funnelytics Basic amounts to a fun brainstorming tool.
You still get to export the funnels you make as a PDF or PNG file so that you can share them with clients.
ClickFunnels Basic throws a few training videos into the mix to sweeten the pot as well.
Hey, I can’t complain. For $0, it’s a heck of a tool.
Funnelytics Pro Guarantee & Refund Policy
When you purchase Funnelytics Pro, you get lifetime access with a 30-day money back guarantee.
Design funnels like a maniac, steal all the expert funnels that you want from the Funnel Vault, and bounce after 29-and-a-half days if that’s what you really want to do.
All they ask is that you actually try to implement Funnelytics before you bail on it.
If you don’t even touch the software and ask for a refund you could be disqualified.
Funnelytics is offering their incredible discount while they’re in BETA testing because they value the feedback. If you don’t actually use the program, you can’t give feedback. Makes sense, right?
Here are all the major frequently asked questions (FAQs) I see people ask before they buy ThriveCart.

The Future Of Funnelytics
Funnelytics’ core feature is that you can track user engagement in an easy-to-visualize format.
The problem is that currently there’s no easy way to set up tracking for on-page events like video view percentages and button clicks without being tech-savvy.
Funnelytics is working on a Google plugin to resolve this issue and they plan on releasing it within the next few months.
Here are a few of the features that Funnelytics is currently cooking up in the kitchen:
Funnelytics aims to put all of your funnel designing and analytics into one package.
In addition to Facebook integration, they’re working on integrating with other main platforms like payment processors, email autoresponders and everything in between.
Just have a little bit of patience. Give them time.
Funnelytics Reviews (Other Customers)
When Mikael Dia decided to create Funnelytics, he knew that the community would be excited about it.
Here are some Funnelytics reviews and testimonials from BETA users and they seem to be raving about this funnel mapping and tracking software:

Is Funnelytics Pro Worth Getting? My Final Thoughts!
Funnelytics is created for marketers by marketers. The thought that they put into its design really shines through.
In my opinion, the BETA testing price of $595 for unlimited traffic and lifetime access to Funnelytics Pro provides incredible value for the money.
I can’t wait for them to roll out more features like integration with payment processors and email.
Designing my funnels and tinkering with new ideas is fun and effortless since I started using Funnelytics Pro.

Affiliate Disclaimer: I hope you enjoyed this Funnelytics review. Please note that some of the links in this epic review may be affiliate links for Funnelytics Pro. That means that if you click on one of the links and sign up, it's likely I'll receive some sort of affiliate commission at no extra cost to you (sometimes you even get a better deal than what's offered to the general public and some extra bonuses from me). With that being said, I ONLY promote stuff that I personally use, trust and stake my reputation on, and happily share with friends and family, and Funnelytics Pro is no exception.
Funnelytics is one of the best (and in my opinion the best) tool out there for designing marketing funnels and tracking results. With their intuitive drag and drop funnel builder you get to create beautiful funnel maps in minutes, then share them with clients and coworkers.
Once you’ve mapped out your new funnel, you can track detailed metrics on user engagement and conversions. This is the core value of what Funnelytics Pro has to offer. It puts all of your funnels and performance stats in one visually pleasing, easy-to-absorb format.
Right now, you can get a lifetime membership to Funnelytics Pro for only $595. On top of that, you’ll get lifetime unlimited traffic analytics and access to high-converting funnel designs.
Funnelytics Pro is not perfect (they are in BETA testing after all), and they’re still working on being able to integrate with third-party software like payment processors and email managers. Setting up detailed tracking metrics is a pain if you aren’t technically gifted, but they’re working on a Google plugin to resolve that issue.
Funnelytics Pro offers a ton of lifetime value for the price. So far, BETA testers have been stoked about this software. And hey, it comes with a 30-day money back guarantee, so you really have nothing to lose.
